Biometry is an element progressively expanding into more and more aspects of our life. The basis for its usage is a cutting-edge measuring equipment, as one of the tools available in the modern optician's store. The use of biometrics helps to resign from old-school static eye models, still commonly used as the foundation for the spectacle lenses calculation. In addition, artificial intelligence allows large databases to be analysed and their results to be transferred to spectacle lenses. These aspects make it possible to create more accurate products, that take into account the actual eye structure of their wearer, which is associated with a number of benefits for their users.
